Once again I loved using Lion Brand® Rewind Yarn for a crochet bag project. It’s so lightweight and durable. The colors have the look of raffia yarn but Rewind is actually crazy soft (almost like felt) and easy to work with. With 23 colors to choose from there are so many options for this bag (if you decide to also use Rewind). I can’t wait to see someone work this tote up in ‘Moto Jacket’ (black), ‘Current Situation’ (burgundy), or ‘Arctic Ice’ (grey-blue)!

I love how this tote is wearable in all seasons! I think it’s perfect for Fall but it was actually originally designed as a Spring & Summer bag! I love when handmade pieces can get so much use.

This project was actually inspired by a woven rug I saw online. I loved the contrast of flat and raised stitching to create a modern design. It took me some time to find the perfect stitch for the mini bobbles but once that fell into place this bag worked up so effortlessly!

If creating pillow insert cushion or filling and slip stitch last edge of panels closed and fasten off
