Launched in 2014, Lakeside Loops shares modern crochet + knit patterns. All designs are created by Kimberley (see more about her below) and are available for viewing on the blog here or for download on:

“Hello! I’m the maker behind Lakeside Loops. I live on Canada’s East Coast with my husband, our two daughters, and new pup. Designing patterns is a group effort around here; I am forever thankful for the encouragement of my husband and the help of our girls (my oldest, age 8, even takes pictures now)! I also want to say thank you to YOU. I’m so grateful for your support and hope I’m always able to create pieces that interest you and bring you joy!”
FUN FACTS
- We live on a lake . . that's where the 'lakeside' in 'Lakeside Loops' comes from.
- I don't drink coffee but consume an embarrassing amount of chocolate on a daily basis!
- I finally learned how to knit after years of trying and look forward to sharing some beginner friendly designs soon!

When I started Lakeside Loops in 2014 I shared my work through websites like Etsy and Revalry where they were for sale for approximately $5 US. Out of respect to all those who have supported me through pattern purchases over the years any patterns designed from 2014-2018 will stay at their original price and will not be shared for free on the blog.
However, beginning in 2019 I will be sharing all new designs for FREE on my blog. This will (hopefully) generate income from ads and will allow me to offer the downloadable PDFs of the new patterns for less on Etsy and Ravelry.
Yes, all FINISHED PRODUCTS from Lakeside Loops© patterns can be used for local sales and can be sold online. If selling finished products from our patterns online we ask that you gave our shop credit for the design. : )
No, while I appreciate your interest, I do not sell any finished crochet pieces. There are, however, many talented makers who have purchased my patterns and carry the finished pieces in their own online shops. Please send me a private message or email and I can connect you with someone! : )
*EXCEPTION: Limited edition toques were available in November + December 2018 as part of a collaboration with Jillian Harris + Etsy.
At the moment my patterns are only available in English but I am working on having them translated into multiple languages!
Yes! Every pattern comes with two versions . . one for our wonderful right handed makers and one for our equally wonderful left handed makers. All videos, charts, and pictures are in both right & left hand as well.
